A paradise of more than 20,000 acres sprawled across the eastern top of the rugged Cumberland Plateau, Fall Creek Falls State Park is one of the most scenic and spectacular outdoor recreation areas in America. Laced with cascades, gorges, waterfalls, streams, and lush stands of virgin hardwood timber, the park beckons those who enjoy nature at her finest. While Fall Creek Falls, at 256 feet, is the highest waterfall in the eastern United States, other waterfalls in the park are Piney and Cane Creek Falls and Cane Creek Cascades. Fall Creek Falls offers visitors the chance to Hike, Fish, Swim, Golf, Horseback Ride and offers Boating activities as well. Fall Creek Falls State Park offers a variety of accommodation options. The park has 228 campsites in three different areas, two group camps (one accommodating 100, the other accommodating 150), two group lodges, 30 cabins and villas and a 145-guest room Park Inn.
The Chicken Coop Series was founded by East Tenness artsit Kim Gann to spread a message of joy on the wings of some very interesting chickens. The Chicken Coop Series is a collection of prints, apparel and accessories featuring “just a bunch of chickens in everyday life”. These chickens will put a smile on anyones face and make a great gift!
WMSR, otherwise known as ‘Thunder Radio” boradcasts on 1320 AM, 107.9 FM and 105.1 FM serving the cities of Manchester and Tullahoma and the surrounding Coffee county area. WMSR is locally owned and operated giving us the flexibilty the carry a wide range of programming. WMSR is the only local station to have three locally produced bluegrass programs. Saturday mornings at 7AM start your day with “Blue Thunder Radio” hosted by Brantly, then get another helping of bluegrass at 7:30 with hosts Max Northcutt, Jeff , and Dennis Flatt all accomplished musicians. Then get a dose of some great bluegrass each Sunday evening from 333 ft beneath the earth with “Bluegrass Underground” a great bluegrass show recorded in the volacano room inside Cumberland Caverns.
